Written support guides
Flutta is a community and support app for people living with MS. This support center explains how to use Today With MS, community spaces, appointments, events, news, Apple Health auto-sync, messaging, privacy controls, and optional dating mode.
The app is designed first for connection, encouragement, and practical support around life with MS.

- Main tiles: Connections, Messages, Community, and My Profile.
- Support tiles: Appointments and Events, Today With MS, and the Community Feed preview.
- News area: trusted MS-related updates and articles.
- Use the home screen as your hub to move between wellbeing support, practical planning, and safe connection with others.
What Flutta is built for
Flutta is designed to help people with MS feel less alone, stay connected, and keep daily support tools close by.
That means the app is not only about meeting people. It is also about check-ins, support, appointments, events, news, community conversations, and optional wellbeing tools like Apple Health auto-sync.
Use these steps when joining Flutta for the first time or helping someone else get set up.
- Sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Verify your email if you chose email sign-in.
- Complete onboarding with your profile basics, interests, and support preferences.
- Choose whether to enable Apple Health auto-sync if you want workouts to flow into Today With MS automatically.
- Finish setup and land on the home screen where your daily support tools are ready.
Best first steps after joining
Add a clear photo, write a warm short bio, complete your interests, and check your privacy settings.
That gives other members enough context to connect in a respectful and supportive way without you having to overshare.
Your profile should feel honest, clear, and comfortable for you. You decide what to share and what stays private.
- Open My Profile to update photos, bio, interests, and personal details.
- Use a clear main photo so people can recognise you and feel more at ease starting a conversation.
- Review privacy settings for profile visibility and location sharing.
- Update support-related details only if they feel useful and comfortable for you to share.
- Return here anytime to adjust Apple Health sync, dating preferences, or visibility options.
Privacy reminder
You do not need to share every detail of your MS journey to use Flutta well.
Start with what feels right, then add more later if it helps you build more meaningful connections.
Today With MS is the daily wellbeing side of Flutta. It is where members check in, keep streaks going, track activity, and share encouragement.
- Open Today With MS to log how you are feeling today.
- Use motivation and support prompts to keep your routine gentle and consistent.
- Review your streaks so progress feels visible and built into your day.
- Share updates to the Community Feed if you want to post a check-in, note, or fitness progress.
- Use community spaces respectfully and avoid sharing unproven medical advice as fact.
Community first
This part of Flutta is about support, consistency, and helping people feel understood.
Even if a member never turns on Dating Mode, Today With MS and Community remain core parts of the app experience.
Flutta also helps with practical life management by keeping appointments, upcoming MS events, and news easier to follow.
- Open Appointments and Events from the home screen to see what is coming up next.
- Add appointments so you can review upcoming and past entries in one place.
- Use AI support for appointments to help generate thoughtful questions before a visit.
- Browse local and online MS events using the in-person and online event views.
- Read the news section for trusted MS-related updates and articles.
Why this matters
Flutta is meant to support real life with MS, not just social interaction.
Appointments, events, and news make the app more useful day to day and help members stay informed, prepared, and connected.
Apple Health auto-sync is optional. It is there to make Today With MS exercise tracking easier, not to profile people or rank them.
- Turn Apple Health auto-sync on during onboarding or later in profile settings if you want automatic workout import.
- Grant Health permission on your device when prompted.
- Flutta reads only the activity data you allow so today’s workouts can appear inside Today With MS.
- Review imported fitness entries before sharing anything to the community.
- Turn sync off anytime in the app or from your device’s Health and Settings controls.
Important privacy note
Apple Health access is optional and used for Today With MS fitness features only.
It is not used for ads, it is not used for profile matching, and activity is only shown to other people if you choose to share it in the app.
Once you connect with someone, you can move into private conversation, share messages and images, and use safe in-app video when both people are ready.
- Open Connections to discover people with shared interests and a similar outlook.
- Start or accept a connection to unlock conversation.
- Use Messages for supportive chats, friendship, and private follow-up.
- Use in-app video carefully when both people want to speak face to face in a safer environment.
- Report or block immediately if a conversation becomes uncomfortable or inappropriate.
Connection before pressure
The goal here is meaningful connection at a pace that feels safe.
For many members, that means friendship and support only. For others, it may grow into something more. The app is designed to leave room for both.
Dating Mode is optional. Flutta can be used fully for friendship, support, and community without turning it on.
- Leave Dating Mode off if you only want friendship, support, and community connection.
- Turn Dating Mode on only if you want to be shown dating-enabled recommendations.
- Review your dating profile details and preferences before enabling it.
- Use the friendship visibility setting to decide whether you also appear in friendship discovery.
- Turn Dating Mode off again anytime if you want the app to stay focused on friendship and support.
How to think about this feature
Dating Mode is a later-layer option, not the main purpose of Flutta.
The wider app is built around MS support, shared experiences, community, wellbeing, and safer connection. Dating is available only for members who actively choose it.
Premium and add-on purchases unlock extra connection tools and convenience features. They are optional and should be clearly understood before purchase.
- Open the upgrade or top-up screen from the relevant feature when you want to review options.
- Check the product and price carefully before confirming through Apple billing.
- Use Restore Purchases after reinstalling the app or changing devices.
- Manage subscriptions directly in your Apple account settings.
- If something fails, save a screenshot and send support the product name, time, and account email.
Keep upgrades optional
The core Flutta experience should still feel useful without a purchase.
Members should understand what each paid feature does, when it renews, and how to restore it if needed.
Safety matters across community, messaging, and private connection spaces. Report concerns early and block when needed.
- Open the user’s profile or conversation if you need to report or block them.
- Choose the clearest report reason and add details that help moderation understand what happened.
- Attach screenshots where possible when reporting messages or harmful content.
- Use block or invisible tools to stop further contact immediately.
- For emergencies, contact local emergency services because Flutta is not an emergency response service.
Good safety habits
Do not share financial information, home address details, or anything that puts you at risk before trust has been built.
Community support is important, but health advice in the app should never replace qualified medical care.
Use this checklist before contacting support so common issues can be resolved faster and with less back-and-forth.
- Force close and reopen the app if something looks stuck.
- Check your internet connection by switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Update the app and iOS to the latest supported version.
- Check permissions for notifications, photos, camera, microphone, or Apple Health if the feature depends on them.
- When contacting support, include your account email, device model, iOS version, time of issue, and a screenshot if possible.
What helps support most
A short message with exact steps is better than a long message with vague detail.
If you can say what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead, problems get resolved much faster.
